But you dont have to pray for God to confront you though. God says He corrects those HE loves. Meaning, if He loves you, you’re going to be corrected. Thats why we’re given the Holy Spirt. We dont have to ask to be convicted, it just happens lol. And if you can feel conviction it means you’re loved because God corrects those He loves. [In normal/healthy circumstances] A parent doesnt have to ask the child if they can discipline them — its natural to a parent.

I was just thinking of this today because I watched the Passion of the Christ and when th devil was taunting Jesus holding the baby, to show like hey I’m your comfort tooooo like the devil promises comfort and is the type to not confront you but tempt you with what seems comfortable.
