Raising my two older sons as a single Dad, with their mom who’s never been around after the younger one was 3mo old, is different than I grew up with. Fast forward to the 7 year old and actually having a present and good coparent, though not together, I got to see both sides. Crazy how everything is different for all of them, including me. But we keep growing and moving forward 😊

me and the ex wife separated after 15 years. she had 2 children going into the relationship (f)8, (m)3, those are my kids. They call me dad. we had 2 boys together. current ages 27,20,15,14. I love all my kids, but if you wanna understand what they are going through communicate on their level and at their pace. Just try to be open and understanding, honesty is big also
