I was diagnosed with Glaucoma at 26 years old in 1992 (Glaucoma Risks Yes, you can get glaucoma at 22, though it's less common than in older adults, and is called Juvenile Open-Angle Glaucoma (JOAG) or early-onset glaucoma, often linked to genetics) with my first surgery at 34 years old in my right eye.
