had a resting heart rate in the 50’s from all the training … had to get a physical done … docs honestly thought I was boutta have cardiac arrest or like sum wrong with my heart till they found out I was a collegiate athlete … low 30’s is insane

My resting heart beat sits between 39 - 50. Last time I had surgery. While in recovery they wanted to call a metcall on me. Just then my nurse from the ward walked in and said, no that's her normal resting heart beat. When I got back to the ward, the on call Cardiologist visited me to ask questions. By then I was up around 65. So I showed her and relaxed, it went back down to 35 - 39. She gave me the all clear.
