@nadia.learns.german: Passed my B1 German exam 🎉 Sharing what actually helped me: What I used: • Examberg → full B1 mock exam simulations (reading, listening, grammar, writing) + AI feedback so you know why answers are wrong • Reddit (r/German, r/LanguageLearning) → real exam tips from people who just took it • Anki → vocab I kept failing in mocks • Easy German podcast → short listening practice at 1–1.25x speed Tips that mattered: • Don’t overlearn grammar rules → learn patterns • Time pressure kills people → always practice with a timer • Writing scores improve fastest if you reuse safe sentence structures • Listening is about predicting answers, not understanding every word My routine: • 1 mock section per day (not everything at once) • Review mistakes immediately • Rewrite corrected writing once (that’s it) Examberg helped most because it feels like the real exam, not random exercises. If you’re stuck at B1 and feel like you’re “studying but not improving”, that’s usually why.
