@fly_with_bruno: Pilots helping pilots 🫱🏻🫲🏼 This happened somewhere over the Arizona desert. Relays are very common in areas where ATC coverage is sparse or non-existent at low altitudes. Controllers rely on aircraft flying at higher altitudes (and with better radio reception) to relay messages or instructions to smaller aircraft flying lower (with weak or no radio reception). I find it pretty cool! Have you ever had to use relay in flight? #aviation #pilot #atc

This is a good time to remind people. Radios require line of sight. if the emitter cant see you, or at least draw a straight line, you may not recieve it.

I love aviation everyone is so helpful. was flying to a local airport and forgot the one runway was right traffic. made my 10 mile call with plans for left traffic to runway and a Mooney called and reminded me it was right
