So what is happening here is called happy tail. It is a condition that dogs have where they genuinely cannot control their tail properly and sometimes it just will not stop wagging no matter what. When this happens, their tail will start banging against walls surfaces really whatever, and it will cut their tail up and it bleeds a lot. It doesn’t ever really seem to bother the dog, but it does cut up a lot. If you wrap his tail in like gauze, tape or safe tape for dogs, it will help protect it so this doesn’t happen again.
