I'm trying to understand what choice feminism is and why it's bad, and this video sort of helped but I wanted to ask, what do you consider a trad wife? and does this imply that a stay at home husband is okay, but not a stay at home wife if she claims to be feminist?

Yes, not every choice is a feminist choice just because a woman makes it. You can absolutely be a tradwife if you want to, but nothing about that is feminist. Feminism isn’t about women having the right to choose to be a fucking doormat tradwife.

I think I’m confused what “choice feminism”. Because I see people saying choice feminism is getting married, having children, being a SAHM and things like that. I’m just confused because are straight women just not allowed to find love or have a family because it’s not feminist enough? This is a genuine question because these are the kinds of things I see labeled as “choice feminism” and I’m just confused.

Hey to the people in the comments, choice feminism isn’t exclusive to certain topics. It just means that feminism should just rely on the person’s free will (even if it is harmful).

could someone explain, because i don't really understand. are we saying that being a stay at home wife is bad (even if the woman chooses to do so — which i understand that many women choose it because it's what they've been conditioned to think. however, it's incredibly hard to really define when the choice is made due to genuine choice or because of conditioning) because it doesn't challenge the status quo?
