I keep seeing the remotion option being pushed. But like what if I don’t want these fancy animations and just want clips put together using cue points? I’m currently planning to experiment letting Claude code make a new kdenlive project since it’s open source. And then I just open the project and edit if I need to. Is remotion better in any way for that?

great review, but lowkey this isn’t entirely new. workbeaver has had this on both mac and windows for a while, and it works across browser, apps, and files. i’ve been using it and it feels more complete than some alternatives.
