PART TWO: THE 90° PIXIE CUT ✂️ Now we’re getting into the actual construction of this pixie. Period. 🔥 For this 90° haircut, I’m using my barber comb to measure and establish my lengths while introducing a gradual cut from top to bottom: ✨ Top — 4 inches ✨ Middle — 3 inches ✨ Back — 2 inches From there, it’s all about finding your guide and allowing that guide to control your elevation, length, and overall shape. I’m also slicing the hair into vertical sections to create clean, controlled lines while shaping the wig around the head. This is where head shaping becomes a hairstyling and haircutting technique—you’re not simply removing length; you’re sculpting the hair to complement the head shape and create movement, balance, and structure. The goal is to make every section work together—from the guide, to the elevation, to the perimeter—so the finished pixie has that clean 90° shape without losing the softness and dimension of the style.
