Why would they need to know where she’s staying? If they’re going to arrest her for driving with a suspended license, they should do that. If they’re going to give her a ticket for driving without lights, they should do that. But it’s none of their business where she’s staying, where she’s going, or where she’s coming from. She’s giving them way too much information.

This feels like overreach. Why can’t her husband observe the stop from a safe distance? She doesn’t seem impaired. I’ve accidentally forgotten to turn on my lights before.

wtf that's not ok..her husband has every right to come make sure his wife is ok! Last time I got pulled over my hubby walked over to me because it was right beside our apartments and they just told him to stay back a little bit.
