Even as a conservative I agree that this country needs an Obama-like figure from a rhetorical and cultural standpoint, bc right now the role the government serves in Americans’ lives is either you support them or hate them, and both sides that support or hate them also hate each other. The political state of the U.S. desperately needs to be reset before it’s too late, we need a fresh face that can speak in a manner that connects with Americans, while at the same time being tough from a policy standpoint.
