The price may go up cuz of inflation but compared to before you pay less and 40k for a hybrid battery is the real scam, they just need to change the part that is burned, each piece is about 80-170$ depending on your car and you usually only change about 2 or 3, you are one of those that get scammed, like MountainView told me 660$ for spark plug and labor 🤦♂️i bought 95$ original sparks and labor was 100$
