That's what we're dealing with in the school system. A complete lack of caring, total and utter apathy. It's hard to when teachers care more about students' grades/lives than the students do.

Many of them are what’s called institutionalized. They’ve been in and out so many times, it’s all they know. One time in band camp, I was the gate Sergeant at our camp, and this one inmate was supposed to get out of prison and he ended up getting sprayed 8 times in one day just so he wouldn’t get out. He had no family members to take him in, no place to live…nothing to go back to except possibly committing a felony and coming back to prison or something worse. Death.

I'm pretty sure my son is institutionalized, he'll make parole, stay out a few months and go right back. He's in core civic in TN.

Sadly some don't know how to live a normal life once they get out, hence why they play up. I have a family member who is on a permanent holiday 😉.
