One more thing BMW does better, in a BMW you stop normally, the auto hold activates almost instantly, you let go of the brake and the car won’t move… there’s no need to firmly depress the brake pedal to activate 🤣

It’s not hard. You push the brake pedal all the way down. It holds. You press the accelerator and you go. I don’t get why people struggle with this.

I cannot find AUTOHOLD in settings in my cla 2025 amg line plus.. i tried to press pedale 2 times till the end .. i tried to find in settings if the feature is off but cannot find it

Sometimes, when the brakes are pressed firmly, the “HOLD” symbol appears on the dashboard. However, it does not appear every time I press the brakes tightly. Is there any reason for this? Is this feature enabled somewhere? Please suggest.

I am not an auto-hold fan. Working on it, but don’t care for it much. Coming from a manual, I expect my automatic to creep, if needed. I do like engine start/stop that the world hates. I quite enjoy it.

In my car, there's a toggle switch on the center console I have to press first to activate the feature. Then, I can press firmly on the brake and it comes on.

I find that i have to quickly jab the brake down for it to work. I rarely use it so maybe I need to practice.
