What changes as you age is the epigenome the layer of chemical instructions that tells your genes when to turn on or off. This is the first partial cellular reprogramming therapy to enter human testing. While the results in animals have been promising, it is important to remember that this is an early Phase 1 clinical trial, designed primarily to assess safety. Whether it will work in humans remains unknown.
