Women have been banned from entering government buildings, including hospitals and public health facilities, in some areas (such as Herat province) if they are not wearing a full burqa. This has led to a decline in women seeking necessary medical care. The dress code is part of a broader system of "gender apartheid" that restricts women's freedom of movement, bars them from most workplaces and education (At least according to my researches)
