I used to work at argos. people would go poundland by cheap white ear pods and return them for apple ones with no receipt, management would always tell me to process the refund

That doesn’t make sense what you’re saying it just doesn’t not add up. Receipt has to be scanned for that item a lot have anything bought correctly.

That cant work , if you purchase £100 perfume then go back pick another bottle then use the receipt off the first purchase, when they scan it it won’t match , so you would have to rip all the bar codes off m
