GOG is #1 in my book specifically for actual ownership of the games you buy. Whereas with Steam you only own a license for the game that can be revoked at any time. That’s not to say Valve WILL revoke them, not many people have ever had that problem but it’s always better to actually own what you buy

When he says 100s of games he talking about all the shovel wear that’s gets released, like reskin of Tetris and rip of robolox games. Steam for me was always about ease of use and real good sales, not about the quality of games, cause games range from triple a to all they way to slop on steam, it’s not that steam will always sell best of best, they do have many terrible games.

Bro there a bunch of slop that gets released onto Steam , plus it pretty much started the whole early access thing , and you don’t even get to own any of the games you buy on the site. The GOG launcher is goated. Steam has a lot of perks but you can criticize them still.
