I’m from MN and I feel you. But it’s bc we know the infrastructure can’t handle this anymore. The bodegas might not be open Sun/Mon… that’s enough for me to be worried

Back in the day when we got 2’ this behavior was definitely the norm. Less than a foot wasn’t as big of a deal but it doesn’t do that here often anymore so it’s a big deal now. And a major city maintaining operations is WAY different than a resort like Big Bear lol

It’s definitely transplants that exaggerate. I went to Trader Joe’s this morning to do my regular groceries but there were some that were buying a ton of frozen food as if they’re going to be stuck at home for months .
