Social Worker here. CPS removes kids while they investigate complaints. It happens more times than anyone knows. If you do not know your rights they can walk all over you

Unreal, this child is there for a medical emergency.. Shouldn't & wouldn't the child have & need his parents there? I mean, I don't know the story on CPS being involved but in this case it seems the parents have custody of the child & should have the right to be with their sick child. I thought CPS keep families together, not split them apart...Ridiculous!!

Court orders are not gonna say the parent can be at the hospital if a child is sick they just say where custody goes Clearly there is a reason u need to leave

it sounds like the kid is in foster care and since there was a medical emergency the real parents were allowed to visit child till 9pm and then were supposed to leave but are now arguing that

Maybe it's the difference between Countries or States but I'm sure even if CPS has physical custody of the child at the time, parents are notified and allowed to remain with their child. With CPS having custody already it shows that the child was having seizures without the parents being around. Any parent should be allowed to be with their child during a medical problem. If it's such a problem put a CPS worker in the room with the kid and the parents, it's there job isn't it?

I want more information on why CPS is even involved. I’m so sick and tired of hospitals and schools calling CPS. I want information as the parent. These parents are leaving way too calmly.

Well if ur child was taken out of ur home it was because they saw something that makes them say he can’t be around u or live with u! So that means u have to stay away unless they set up visits by a court! So that means u can’t be in his presence.
