To clear things up: i transferred from a school in Texas where there was a completely different vibe and things to do. I came to Seattle for vb and to be closer to my family! I dont think anything is wrong with staying in or going out, its just different from where I was at is all!

Lived in Seattle most of my life and moved to Oklahoma for a couple of years. The crime, the intrusive biblical tones in everything and the fake niceness were suffocating. Sure, the Seattle freeze is real but you just gotta give yourself time and space to make friends and find your niche. I’d take neighbors I acknowledge from a distance over the disaster that is the south any day.

I don’t know about you but I attended MANY of UW frat parties in the early 2000s. And I didn’t even go there! But that was a lifetime ago. You’re getting a fantastic education and must be super smart so if you want more fun, go find it!

No you’re right, there ARE less parties, and the ones that are here are more exclusive. I’ve seen people kicked out of house parties before simply because “you don’t have an invitation? Go away” no concept of the more the merrier here 😭😂
