I really agree with this - which is why a lot of women (including me) have struggled allowing themselves to look beautiful. For a long time as a teenager it opened me up to danger, being bullied, being targeted by older women, etc. it’s only been in recent years that I’ve started really taking care of myself again - so much trauma and such a complicated topic !

that’s what i did i subconsciously sabotaged my appearances due to being bullied by envious people including my own mother. also getting SA’d… i isolated for years but now im trying to heal
