If you really want to quit you need to get help and delete all your gambling apps or ser limits . It’s not different than any other addiction .

Please stop blaming yourself. This is a brain chemistry issue that you have very little control of. This is a dopamine issue that is powerfully addictive. You are not a bad or weak person. You have an addiction that you cannot control unless you get treatment. Stop self destruction! You are worth living a better and more rewarding life that doesn’t involve gambling. You can recover and it is a wonderful life without the addiction controlling you…but you need to understand this addiction is brain chemistry, not weakness or stupidity. Stop letting it take your joy, your life or or future. There IS a BETTER LIFE for you!!! I know, bc I was in your shoes for 25 years and now my life is wonderful. You sound like a very smart person…please stop blaming yourself. Recovery is 100% possible!

What helped me quit is I moved far away from the nearest casino AND I watch 3-4 regulars on IG that literally blow thousands daily. They show the losses and winnings, but they have more losing days than winners.
