There are people who don’t “look” handicap and really are. I have 4 replaced parts and am eaten up with osteoarthritis- and 3 misplaced discs in my spine. I’m sure to some I look fine but I can’t walk very far and I walk in pain every single day of my life.

Some people fake it like her but there’s also people that don’t look disabled are disabled. You sometimes can’t tell. I get looks when I park in a handicap spot. I have serious spine issues and can’t walk far.

I have COPD, u can't see it. I also recently had quadruple bypass surgery, can't see that either. If I walk very far I faint, but I still need to eat.

You don't have to look handicapped to be able to park there. I am disabled but it's not physically I have a heart condition and on oxygen and can't be walking too much or far. And I have a permit to park. But I do get it when people are not and abuse. Just sometimes can't judge on looks.

I don’t get this. Some days I look normal to everyone around me. Little do they know just goin to the store is excruciating for me. Just one trip to the store can put me in bed for days. But I go when I have a good day. I have disabilities that you can’t possibly understand and some days you can’t see. I’ve gotten great at disguising myself to my own family and friends. My pain levels could be a 8 for me which is a good day but you would be crawling on the floor begging for help. Judge others if you will but not everyone fakes their disability. We’ve just gotten really good at hiding it. Why? For me it’s because I don’t want to be a burden. I don’t want those long conversations about how I’m actually doing and nobody even the ones that love you don’t want to hear it constantly. But I assure you my pain never leaves.

this is great. thank you. everytime I take mom to pharmacy and grocery store. never handicap space available. all cars no handicap plates no placker. I report to store manager and they say they can't fo nothing about it.
