the entire ball needs to be out of play, this was only about 92%. also we were taught young you never use your hands on a ball that is even close to the line. big defender error

Ball is clearly still in play as the ball didn’t completely clear the line. If any part of the ball is above the line even if the bottom is past the line the ball is still in play as it hasn’t completely crossed the line. This video is misinformation and completely incorrect.

No. The ball is not out of play. The pitch side edge of the ball has to cross the line, not the centre of the ball.
