If you genuinely like this film and want to know more about the story, I highly recommend reading the book “tweak.” This story is entirely true, Nic wrote a book from his own perspective through his journey. This movie is based on the fathers book of the same name. But Nic’s book is extremely raw, straight to the point. You get to see through the eyes of an addict. Highly recommend
