u purposely showed the first method with bad topo, but clean topo first method wins cuz u dont need svg. not everyone wants it "just good enough for renders", sometimes performance optimization by design of the topo is vital too

For something as simple as that, it doesn’t need that many polygons so I’d rather take the first method any day and have something that’s more optimized and more controllable

🤣 yo lo veo como un peke más, si es para hacer una extrusión así, lo hago en menos tiempo y con más detalles 🤣, 1 Photoshop, nueva extrusión apartir de capa seleccionada, inmediatamente quedó hecha, ahora vamos a capas y le ponemos un relieve de tapa, con ello queda más pro con acabados finos, y se exportas en el formato que quieras "STL", y si quieres más detalle entonces ya sería pasarlo al software de modelado, pero como el vídeo, Photoshop 20 segundos o menos.
