@renobythewoods: We got quoted £12,000 by Wren to replace our kitchen and that didn’t even include any of the building work we wanted! Our kitchen is tiny, so we just couldn’t justify that amount of money. Let’s see if we can do it for under £8,000… not sure if we’ve given ourselves a big enough budget, but we’ll see 🤣 Honestly, I can’t wait until this kitchen is finished - the end is in sight! Stay tuned for our kitchen reveal 🤩 #kitchen #renovation #makeover #kitchenmakeover #DIY @DIY Kitchens
12k is nuts for that size, wren are ridiculous with their pricing

we got quoted 6k for ours without fitting, ended up buying the whole kitchen from B&Q for under 2k, built all the units ourselves and had someone just level them and fit the worktops which only cost a few hundred! so saved ourselves around 3k!

What?!? We went with Wren and it cost 15k and our kitchen is the size of your living room and dining room combined. We also had the ceiling plasterboarded and the entire room skimmed.

you've made the right choice buying it from them. As a kitchen fitter, I’ve only heard positive things about DIY kitchens. 👍🏼

I was an interior designer for 10 years, the cost is always in the labour. As you’re doing so much yourself, you’ll be able to do it for 8 to 9 thousand. Keep a record of every expenditure, to save money on replacing the tiles, use panels instead. Much more cost effective ☺

Wow! We only paid £11,000 from wren and our kitchen was much bigger than this. We got our quartz work tops elsewhere but it did include all appliances x
