Admittedly when I get stressed with school work, I skip out on a lot of my personal health habits: skincare, morning rituals etc. These things add up, and overall I don’t feel the best physically. Makeup is a low-effort ritual I’ve been trying to stay consistent with —- I enjoy the art of it, the peace of not doing anything work-related, and the confidence it brings me. I wanted to explicate this because with social media it’s easy to take away the surface-level message “you’ve got to wear makeup to be pretty”.
