They showed this footage to us in school and i remember that was one of the only moments my whole sophomore history class stayed silent the rest of the period. i think this should be shown in school because a lot of kids in mine would make those “edgy” 9/11 jokes but there’s truly nothing to joke about after seeing people jumping from buildings either for quicker deaths or to escape the burn/ smoke from the fire

Unfortunately, if this were to happen in today’s society, people would just stand around with cell phones videoing instead of helping. I think millennials are the last people to remember the severity and how much it impacted us as children. The younger generations will never understand.
