i highly recommend visiting marikina shoe bazaars if you want cheaper options. my thesis was abt shoemaking in marikina and afaik andante, hayo, renegade folk, cora and bear, and munimuni are the only locally made ones in this list. unfortunately its unavoidable for these to be pricier due to a number of reasons: 1) cost of materials 2) shoemaking as a craft is a lengthy process 3) we are running out of skilled shoemakers so production is much slower 4) our equipment are not updated which affects #3
