@nepalin24hr: A human skeleton has been found inside the wreckage of the Ganapati Deluxe bus that was swept into the Trishuli River during the devastating Simaltal landslide accident last year. The remains were discovered on the 16th day of excavation at the riverbank in Aanbukhaireni Rural Municipality, Tanahun. Authorities had been working to recover the buried bus after locals spotted parts of a vehicle while fishing in the area. Officials confirmed the bus through its engine and chassis numbers. The skeleton was found in the front section of the vehicle as crews began cutting the wreck into pieces after failing to retrieve it in one piece. A medical team from Chitwan has taken the remains for forensic examination. The tragic accident occurred on Asar 28, 2081, when massive landslides pushed two buses into the river. Out of 65 passengers, only three survived, while the others were swept away along with the vehicles. Despite long search efforts using modern technology, the buses had remained missing until recently.
