Thanks for all the comments! 😊 Just to clarify: I made this video to be fun and easy to understand. I’m not saying you “have to” follow everything. Honestly, many Japanese people don’t even know some of these points (I didn’t either). I simply wanted to share a bit of context so that when you eat sushi in Japan, you can enjoy the experience even more. Eat however you like! Nobody is going to come up to you and scold you for “doing it wrong.” One thing I do recommend in omakase: please avoid strong perfume/cologne. If you can do that, the chef will definitely appreciate it. 🙏🍣 If you’re here just to argue, feel free to scroll on. Thank you😊👋🏻
