you are doing great! a few things to think about. get commode liners for your grandma chairs. cleanup is alot easier. I would put baking soda in the bottom of the commode before adding the liner to keep the plastic from smelling. I would bleach the container daily. while liners come with an absorbent pad as well. it does make it easier. when the palliative care social worker comes as if your mom and grandma qualify for in home supportive services. ihss are caregivers that can come in handle the bathing and meals. saves so much time.
