Peppers: Slice bell peppers and cook them in same hot pan until lightly charred. Transfer immediately to a bowl and cover, the trapped steam softens them further. Build: Sauce first, then peppers, chicken, more sauce, finish withpickles. Done. A shish tawouk sandwich that still taste like shish tawouk. Just not a boring one.
