@popculturescientist: What does galaxy rotation tell us about how much matter we can see? One of the earliest pieces of evidence that something is off in our observations of spacetime. This is Dark Matter Explained: episode 5. Galaxy Rotation. #physics #stem #popculturescientist #gravity #darkmatter

It’s mad that the reason Earth and the other planets are here is that they are just the leftover dust and gas that was moving too fast to fall into the Sun and too slow to be flung outside the solar system.

im a millenial, I got into astronomy as a teen and ever since I've wondered if we'll figure out the mystery of dark matter in my life. truly hope i get to see that discovery!

Do all galaxies rotate in the same direction or do the ones in the southern part of the universe rotate

Galaxies are not existing by themselves alone they are often in clusters. And further stars are from its own galaxy center they will be in affected by other gravitational centers. So your illustration is not correct

I missed the middle part of the video. I was hypnotized by the two spinning galaxies at the top of the screen. I'll have to watch it again and close my eyes

Do you think alien/UFO are made of dark matters, and that's why we can't see them. And sometimes when you are in toilet, you feels like somebody is looking at you..
