big mistake
Installing EPS (polystyrene) insulation on the inside of external walls is usually a wrong solution.
It shifts the dew point into the wall, causing condensation inside the structure.
Because EPS is vapour-tight, moisture gets trapped and cannot dry out, which leads to mould and damage.
Walls should stay warm and be able to dry, which is why external insulation is the correct approach in most cases.

he could have not been able to put it on the outside so he put it on the inside. humidity will be a problem on both cases. you can still hang things from that wall with out an issue

big deal. They actually build houses in Australia with foam now. And the joy is they still cost over 500k for a foam dog box.

isolation is better installed outside, thats the biggest problem. the rest is fixable

Point of humidity conservation goes to bricks. That is critical mistake.

isolation from inside is not wrong but thoss panels he used are meant for exteriors. From inside he should have used fiberglass and aerated concrete panels

Big big trouble. By insulating from the inside, he brought the freezing and dew point inwards from the center of the brick, which means that the freezing and melting point will occur behind this foam. The only way to fix this is to put even thicker insulation on the outside.
