My chihuahua doesn't leave a three foot radius from me when she is off leash. She doesn't go up to strange people or dogs. She doesn't bark or chase anything etc. The only reason she isn't off leash all of the time is because I live in Texas and we have a lot of snakes, birds of prey etc and she looks like a squirrel 😅. People don't understand that not everyone/every dog wants a dog in the space. Train your dog and don't let it run up on anyone

Fr! I have boarder collies and mine are normally off leashes but I keep leashes with me just in case and a squirrel can be on the trail and they’ll come straight back to me
