O Allah, Master of hearts and Controller of their states, I ask You by the power of Your mercy and the perfection of Your wisdom to unite me with this girl in a union full of goodness and blessing. O Allah, if there is any evil, deficiency, or trial in our path, our hearts, or our circumstances, transform it by Your power into goodness, light, and guidance. Make what was an obstacle a reason for closeness, and what was a hindrance a reason for union. Bring our hearts together in a way that none can do except You. O Allah, decree marriage for us if it is good for us, and make it good even if it seems otherwise. Grant us success that turns evil into good, weakness into strength, and distance into closeness, and make us among those through whom affairs are set right. O Allah, make me a source of light, mercy, and tranquility for her, and fill her heart with sincere, pure, strong love for me. Make my love for her a pure love that pleases You. O Allah, to You belongs all praise—abundant, pure, and blessed praise, as befits the majesty of Your Face and the greatness of Your Authority. O Allah, O Most Merciful, O Most Compassionate, O Most Forgiving, O Most Generous, O Most Forbearing, O Most Great, O You whose mercy encompasses all things, O You in whose hand is all goodness and who has power over all things. O Most Loving, O Possessor of the Glorious Throne, O Doer of whatever You will. We ask You by the light of Your Face by which the heavens and the earth are illuminated, by Your power through which You have power over all Your creation, and by Your mercy which encompasses all things, to forgive us, have mercy on us, and free our necks from the Fire. O Allah, we ask You for a faith that never turns back, a certainty that never fades, a humble heart, a tongue that remembers You, deeds that are accepted, abundant provision, complete pardon, healing from every illness, relief from every worry, removal of every hardship, sincere repentance before death, testimony of faith at the time of death, and Paradise and Your pleasure after death. O Allah, do not leave for us any sin except that You forgive it, any worry except that You relieve it, any debt except that You settle it, any sick person except that You heal them, any deceased person except that You show them mercy, any repentant person except that You accept them, any misguided person except that You guide them, any difficulty except that You ease it, and any need of this world or the Hereafter—so long as it pleases You and is good for us—except that You fulfill it and make it easy by Your grace, O Most Merciful of the merciful. O Allah, we ask You for all good—immediate and future—what we know of it and what we do not know, and we seek refuge in You from all evil—immediate and future—what we know of it and what we do not know. O Allah, make us among those You free from the Fire, and among those You look upon with mercy, forgive, and are pleased with. O Allah, grant us relief from every worry, a way out of every distress, well-being from every trial, concealment from every indecency, and forgiveness for every sin.

O Lord, make her my destined partner, and if there is no good for me in her, then place goodness in her and still make her my share. O Allah, do not write her for anyone other than me, and make her my wife in this life and the delight of my eyes in the Hereafter. O Allah, do not separate me from her heart, and do not let my heart become attached to any girl other than her, nor let her heart become attached to any man other than me. O Allah, if she is written for someone else, then write her for me; and if I am written for someone else, then write me for her. O Allah, I have loved her. My tongue has failed to describe the depth of my love for her. O Allah, she is my only wish that I call upon You for every day. O Allah, do not let circumstances become a barrier between us, and unite our hearts as You have united souls, O Lord of the worlds. O Allah, I ask You in these blessed days to make her my destined partner. O Lord, my heart is attached to her and my soul loves her. Make her love me even more, and let me be the one she admires. Make her see me as the husband she hopes for. O Lord, I call upon You with a heart filled with hope—do not turn my heart away unanswered, for You are the Most Mighty, the Most Generous. You are the One who answers the prayers of Your righteous servants. O Allah, unite me with her through what is lawful, fix her heart and fix mine, guide her and make her my rightful share and my lawful partner, O Allah. So O Allah, show me the wonders of Your power, Your greatness, and Your majesty by making her mine, O Most Generous of the generous. O Allah, I have good faith in You. O Allah, do not disappoint my hope, nor break my heart or my spirit. O Most Generous, O Most Merciful, O Most Compassionate, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor, O Allah, I have called upon You as You commanded me, so answer me as You promised me. There is none I turn to in humility except You, O Allah; I call upon You and You respond. O Allah, answer my prayer as You promised me, O All-Hearing, O One who responds.

Set right all my affairs, and do not leave me to myself even for the blink of an eye, nor to anyone among Your creation. 4. O Allah, subject for me the soldiers of the earth and the angels of the heavens, and everyone to whom You have entrusted my affairs. Grant me my share of this world and the bliss of the Hereafter, and make every difficult matter easy for me. 5. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the oppression of people, the burden of debt, and the gloating of enemies. I seek refuge in You from a constricted chest, the loss of patience, and lack of means. 6. O Allah, give me glad tidings of what opens the doors of happiness in my heart, and say to what is within me to be, O Lord of the worlds. 7. O Allah, protect me from before me and from behind me, from my right and from my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your greatness from being harmed from beneath me. 8. O Allah, make me a source of blessing wherever I may be. Make me a key to goodness and a barrier against evil. Use me in Your obedience, and do not replace me with someone else. 9. O Allah, purify my heart from sins as a white garment is purified from stains.

O Allah, I ask You for the Highest Paradise (Al-Firdaws), its bliss and its ranks, and for everything in word or deed that draws one closer to it. And I seek refuge in You from the Fire, its punishment and its evil outcome, and from everything in word or deed that draws one closer to it. O Allah, whatever You have decreed for me, make its outcome good. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done and from the evil of what I have not done, and I ask You to make every decree You have decreed for me a source of good.
