Can we make a group for women who have recently found the bible? Sometimes it’s difficult to follow and would be good to have other women to share our interpretations ❤️

While I agree with what you should be speaking on - please be aware that with what you are about to do, so much more responsibility will be placed upon you as result. So if you are not saved and you are searching for understanding of what Salvation actually means, I encourage you to find a local church to attend that teaches the Bible as the infallible Word of God and to also get yourself the John MacArthur Study Bible (best study bible out there) so that you can come to the knowledge of completed work of Christ in spirit and in truth. Remember that Bible you are reading is 66 books. You cannot know a novel by reading 2 verses of a chapter. Same thing as the Bible - need to read and study the full book in its full context. All the best.

Don’t fall into the trap of using God as a niche. God is the blessing the end goal. Jesus is the goal not just something to use that exalts us/gets us noticed or known. His presence, getting to know Him, and resting in Him is the goal, anything outside of that you will have no idea of until you know Him.

I wish this stuff made sense to me… I grew up going to church and felt so out of place because people would talk about it so passionately like you are now and I would just sit there feeling so disconnected. I wish I felt it and I never did and I still don’t… They say that God chooses you, I really have always felt like he didn’t want me because I don’t understand!

Before “i” formed you.. I almost find that insulting. God didn’t form my child, my husband and I did with the help of IVF and doctors.

Let the Holy Spirit guide you keep praying and seeking. See we are not of this world but of heaven. Gods placed his children around the world so we show Gods love through us so others could be reached and saved. Even if people do judge you don’t forget they judged Jesus first and if we are judge for Jesus’s sake be glad, for great is your reward in heaven as it says in Matthew 5:11-12 💫🙏

I recommend reading the parts in Exodus where God condones slavery, and also the parts in Samuel where he has women r-ped because he didn't like some their husband did. Deconstruction tiktok is worth a look to understand the counterpoint to what you're reading.
