I used to live near this place and i am Italian. There is truly NOTHING authentic about this pizza, but it’s damn good! The pies are also to die for.

To those making comments about the thickness of the crust I get it it’s not for everybody but very standard for Ottawa. That being said you can order thin crust and Louis Pizza is one of the best restaurants in Ottawa. They make a very very good pizza and treat their customers INCREDIBLY well. A true long-term, Ottawa institution!

man...not even 30min ago I was at a pub talking about pizza spots with a bunch of locals (in east ottawa). an argument started about Louis and if it was still the best. we concluded that it was still good but orleans was not the same.

Yeah had my first “Ottawa pizza” at Louis nearly 10 years ago and it’s a hard no for me. After having NY, and regular Toronto or legit Italian pies, I absolutely can’t wrap my head around soggy pepperoni suffocating under the cheese. And the crust is just too much. Not shitting on them, or Ottawa pizza, just not for me.
