I have mental health issues and have had for 20 years +. I am on Long Term Disability. I was told to apply for CPP, but was denied because my issues are not severe and prolonged. Any advice?

I had my insurance company swap my adjustor person with zero notification, went a whole year before another new someone called me. they said on my file they had reached out via email & telephone. I confirmed my email & phone and sent them screen shots for the dates & times of each they claimed to have contacted me but they did not. the person took that information thanking me and hasn't called or emailed me back. I'm past 2 years coming up to 5 years. no one calls or emails back.

this happened exactly to a tee on my file. after 1.5 years new adjuster and they send me to some useless computer course that was just basic computer work for 4 weeks 2hours a day. and then after they told me now you can do sitting jobs and computer jobs and canceled my wcb after 2 years. no one will hire me for computer work because I have no experience

There is a lot of staff turnover in claims departments, hence the changes. New eyes on the file equals new review and new scrutiny

This totally happened. I could not figure out who to call different name on every communication. Out of blue new person call and start asking me things that anyone should know if they looked at my file. It was totally frustrating and made me feel like all this person knew was my phone number.

Exactly my experience and refused to follow my communication accommodations for my well documented learning disability when my former adjuster did.

I had the opposite. My new claim adjuster was very nice . My 2 year mark was December. And I got a letter saying the are covering me till 2048.

I don’t have a new adjuster but I’m coming to my 2 year in April after a kidney and liver transplant and even after all our conversations phone calls and my specialist notes he still wants me to go do a functional capacity evaluation

My husband was kicked off of LTD right at the 2 year mark. The company did everything you described.

Worker's Compenation does that regularly! Each one wants you to justify what you get; then payments are late or cut off accidentally etc.!🙄

My daughter experienced a catastrophic medical incident on Dec 13, 2023 and everything youve spoken of has happened to her, she received a cancellation of her benefits at exactly 2 yrs . We filed a complaint and are now working through their process.

💯 I went through that with my father. He was about to go onto long term. I was his POA. #1 I was his POA they were only to speak to ME, calling my Dad. #2 He was a machinist for 45 years, he couldn't hear sh*t on the phone #3 Why does he need to reassessed for his disability? MS hasn't been cured. He had late onset rapid progressive MS. When the insurance company "lost" his paperwork, despite me having confirmation they received it.... it was suggested it might delay or stop payments to my Daddy. I asked the woman to look out her window & identity the streets she could see. Afterwards, she asked why. Because I'm in your office tomorrow lady. Strangely, I was called back 20 minutes later and all those documents were located 🤷‍♀️Weird

Workers comp hire a doctor through the city for the insurance company and shoves your actual doctor who is neutral and for your health but the workers comp lies and screwed you over out of a legitimate injury and lose your compensation.. happen to me forced on my pension early.. no workers comp!!!!

Why would a new case mgr be assigned at 12 years ? And start having additional requests for medical records etc?
