everyone wants to FIFO dollars but can't do the FIFO life. just get a trade then go into FIFO with trade for a few years. build a nest egg and return home. then live woth paid off house and few investments

So I understand the entry level jobs are your basic shit jobs but I’m qualified boilermaker engineer since 2 years ago would I be able to go straight to maintenance or shutdown work even if my apprenticeship wasn’t on heavy material

Most positions around Middlemount are drive in drive out, they will only FIFO trades. There are that many people that will work in camp that they just pick the cream of the crop. Also I live in Emerald
