@europeanspaceagency: Europe’s next-generation weather satellite sends back first images! 🛰️ This video was created using data from @eumetsat's MTG-S1 satellite, orbiting Earth 36 000 kms away. Sweeping through a selection of channels across the infrared spectrum reveals different features of the Earth's surface and atmosphere with each wavelength.
