When you’re cold (or stressed), the tiny blood vessels in your fingers clamp down harder than they need to… Blood flow drops quickly, so your fingers can turn white, sometimes blue, and feel numb or tingly. When the blood comes back they turn red, warm up, and may throb or sting. Raynaud’s can affect fingers, toes and occasionally your ears or nose!
