If you don’t have gap insurance put it on now. In a couple months, you’re going to swerve to avoid hitting a deer. When my transmission was shot, I mean when I missed a deer, I drifted off the road right into a muddy ditch and sat there till my car flooded.

this was me with my kia soul, i traded it in and rolled over my negative equity to a brand new car and then a month later it got totaled, but i had gap insurance so bye bye negative equity and hello another new car with no roll over lol

My husband works on cars and has taught me to never buy a car brand new because they always depreciate in value no matter what. Even buying a car 1-2 years older is better for taking out a loan than a brand new car
