Stop pumping, keep nursing. She doesn’t have to get a ton of milk and you can give her a formula bottle after.

I’ve heard of other moms that continued producing milk even though they only nurse 1-2x per day! It sounds like you really enjoy it, but once I weaned my second my husband would bring her a straw cup of milk in bed in the morning with us and she still (19mo) just snuggles us while she drinks it. It’s so sweet.

As a mom who breast-fed for children. I breast-fed mine until they were a year old. About six months I weaned them down to one feeding a day, and that was the nighttime feeding so that I could have some bonding time quiet time with them, I did not experience any hormonal changes when I stopped. I will tell you that it can be emotional though good luck, hon.

I lost my supply when I got pregnant again but was still able to nurse my son once at bedtime and it was so special! Did that for like 6 months and it was my favorite

If you continue to breastfeed her in the morning you will keep producing milk just at that time of day. My gf only breastfeeds at night once and has milk just for then and doesn’t get engorged at all during the day otherwise

I just cut one pumping/bf out at a time until I was eventually down to just once a day! I was able to keep up once a day for a while (with a little decrease in supply) until I was ready to be done completely 😊

now that my child is almost a toddler. I still keep breastfeeding because of the health benefits, but it does help with tantrums. they dont eat as much when they start soilds and get older.

I got down to only breastfeeding before bed because that was our night time routine so you could definitely ween down to one feed a day!
