I’m sure the 17% are aging and the youth aren’t really learning how tic drive them much. I wonder how long they will be around. I think they are fun to drive but wouldn’t want to do it daily again.

It kills me that I can’t buy a stick anymore. I think cell phones had a lot to do with it. Hard to text and drive a stick

I do know how to drive a stick shift and so does my husband and one of my brother-in-law’s. I have four siblings two parents that one is past I am 53 and the youngest of four kids and the only people in my entire family that drive a stick is me and one of my sisters.

I miss manual transmission but for resale purposes you have to choose automatics.

Manuals are fun, but they have no advantage. At all. People only like them because it makes you feel more connected to your vehicle and the drive. But Automatics are far more efficient and effective. Plus, manuals require more maintenance.

I HATE automatic transmissions and they are so much worse today than they used to be. I will never buy anything but manual again.

Manual is fun to drive but annoying as a daily driver. Had a 2005 Subaru legacy manual and eventually your knee gets sore.
