Since our Nolita flagship opened in October 2022, we’ve served over 300K customers. The store has become a true destination for locals and visitors alike, and over the last two years, a consistent and increasingly-long line has stretched down Lafayette Street. As the volume of customers increased, we began to recognize that the quality of your experience started to suffer. Functionality decisions and design choices that were instituted for the vibes stopped translating as foot traffic built and the brand evolved. We outgrew the space — both figuratively and literally — which led us to a crack in the concrete: we could either make some changes and try to buy ourselves a couple more years here or we could find a new home. The former ended up being the path of least resistance, at least for now, and so in collaboration with our friends @by_overnight, we’ve spent the last six months reconfiguring and reimagining our humble abode. Highlights include a larger cash wrap — fabricated in a stunning Breccia San Giorgio marble from Switzerland — which was shifted to the back of the room to help improve the flow; two towering display cases for apparel and headwear, which has quadrupled the amount of product we can have on the floor at any given time; custom displays for souvenirs and art prints; and two dressing rooms, which give guests the opportunity to comfortably try on the product that our team works tirelessly to bring to life. V2 of NYON’s 1st retail store opens today, Monday the 9th, at 11AM EST. We’ll have Signature Lattes available from an in-store coffee cart available until 2PM. The first 100 shoppers will also receive a limited-edition 13” x 19” art print by the photographer @Beholdingeye collaborated with for a new series of postcards and full-size pieces as well. Thank you to everybody who’s helped make our 250 Lafayette location a triumphant success over the past 3+ years.
